XääD

XääD is the electronic music project of Sydney-based artist Dylan Regtop, creating emotionally charged electronic music that sits somewhere between deep house, breaks, minimal acid and experimental electronica.

Built around looping, live performance and a strong instinct for atmosphere, XääD’s music combines hypnotic rhythms, evolving synths, textured vocals and understated grooves. The result is music that can move a dancefloor while still leaving room for emotion, space and reflection.

With a background spanning songwriting, composition, performance and visual creativity, XääD approaches electronic music as both a producer and a live artist. Tracks are often developed from simple loops and fragments, gradually layered into immersive pieces where repetition becomes movement and small changes create momentum.

The XääD project has developed rapidly over the past two years, with an album and multiple EPs written and developed during 2025, including collaborations and remixes with Simon Lovelace. Recent work continues to explore the space between club music and more personal, introspective songwriting.

Live, XääD brings the music into the room through a loop-driven performance that builds organically, creating an experience that is energetic, atmospheric and unpredictable.

At its heart, XääD is about electronic emotional euphoria — music designed to make people move, feel and lose themselves in the moment.
