Ilüzi

Sydney based drum & bass artist Ilüzi (Ben Corthorn) has carved out a powerful and distinctive presence within the bass music scene. Known for his dark, high-energy approach to drum and bass, Ilüzi has become a staple of Sydney’s nightlife, performing countless gigs across the city’s clubs and underground raves. His sets are defined by an unrelenting intensity that captures the raw essence of the genre while pushing its boundaries into new territory.

Ilüzi has shared the stage with internationally recognised artists including Imanu, Buunshin, K Motionz, Whiney, Teddy Killerz, Envy, Rohaan, Inja and What So Not, alongside many of Australia's leading bass music acts. His music and performances have also gained recognition and support from respected artists such as Macky Gee, Teddy Killerz, BLKOUT, Mincy, and many others who have taken notice of his unique sound and growing influence within the scene

Beyond his solo work, Ilüzi is the founder of ‘Dirty Hertz’, a Sydney-based rave collective that has quickly become known for curating high-intensity events that celebrate the darker and more experimental sides of drum and bass and dubstep. Through his collective, he continues to foster the underground community that first inspired him, providing a platform for both emerging and established artists to express their sound.
