Darcy Doogan

Darcy Doogan AKA D3W4N, is one of the busier personalities in Sydney dance music. Primarily a

House DJ, he’ll play anything funky, jazzy, bangin, rollin and/or soulful. He has fought hard to avoid

being pigeon-holed and it’s starting to pay off. In the last few years he’s been:

- playing House and Disco at Tatler (monthly residency since July 2024)

- at Lucky Cat with Larry’s Herd and Norm De Plume

- playing Deep House and Techno for Groove Core

- supporting Purple Disco Machine at The Greenwood Hotel

- playing Techno at The Bridge Hotel (Rozelle) or Cult in Kings Cross (with RPM or Deep Space Entertainment)

- playing D&B for Elements of Tech and Bass at The Factory Theatre

Online, Darcy serves as an admin for House and Techno Sydney (HATS), and Sydney Underground

Electronic.

He runs House event company: Deeper Rhythms - past guests include Simon Caldwell, Illya, Norm De Plume, Simonne Cooper,

- and techno company: Synthesis - past guests include Mookie and Vic from Swarm, Andrew Wowk, Barkney/Kato and Efesian.

His most recent project: "Soul Division" is a collaboration with Jimmy Brûs, in which the pair often play open to close, with sets spanning from 60's Soul, 70s Disco, 80s Funk, 90s Hip-Hop, House (Deep, Proggy, Minimal, Tech, Acid, Jackin, French Touch, Classic/OG), Techno, Electro, UKG, Breaks/Breakbeat, even Jungle! Past collaborators include Lili Joy, Romy Black, Simonne Cooper and Robbie Lowe
