AR/IA

I am Sasha, but go by my stage name AR/IA in the music scene. I am Croatian, but have lived in Australia for 12+ years, a country that has allowed me to blossom and thrive as my true self since I came out four years ago as a trans woman. I am a Sydney techno producer and DJ. This project was born with the intent to play and produce within a variety of techno subgenres: hypnotic, psy-techno, bush techno, melodic, driving, peak-time, with occasional jump over to the acid techno. I launched AR/IA earlier this year (2026), and have been passionately involved with the people and the community I have for years only seen as an audience member. I have played for Puzzles, Tribe, Inquisition, Bondi Radio, all in the last couple of months, after my debut as a DJ at Your Shot 2026, at Home the Venue in June 2026. This last month I returned to music production as I am planning on releasing my first album later this year, and I am a couple of tracks short before I can sign it off.
