Studio Kink Sydney, led by internationally renowned performer Mark DeViate, has been a fixture of Subsonic since 2013, known for striking, high-energy performances that fuse Shibari rope art, fetish aesthetics, and stage spectacle. In 2024, the Studio Kink crew featured on the main stage at midnight Saturday behind the DJ, delivering rolling Shibari performances that became a festival highlight.

Beyond Subsonic, Studio Kink has performed at Dragon Dreaming (2022, 2023, 2025) and Rabbits Eat Lettuce (2022), bringing bold and unforgettable shows to diverse festival audiences.

Mark’s solo career includes headline appearances at the Japan Fetish Ball, Los Angeles Fetish Ball, and the New Zealand Fetish Ball, along with regular showcases at the Fetish Gala Sydney. He was a mainstay at Sydney’s legendary Hellfire Club (2003–2019), delivering its final show, and a frequent feature at Freq Flag events at Frankie’s Pizza until its closure.
