Heat Sauce

My name is Lucas McDermid a.k.a. Heat Sauce and I've been performing and running flow workshops for over 4 years. I am 31 years old and live in Nelson Bay NSW.

I specialize in the fabric star known as Dapo / Flow Star. I am currently one of the most influencial artists for this prop and an ambassador for Flow Star. My other favourite props to spin are double staffs and dragon staff.

Over the years I've performed fire and LED at various events such Esoteric, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Earth Frequency, Elements, Subsonic, Splendour in the Grass, Art Valley, and various smaller local events.

I have combined my love for teaching and flow into many popular workshops at Dragon Dreaming, Glowfest, Flowstate, and local flow events in Newcastle.

I've also toured the US twice to promote FlowStar, run workshops, attend meetups, and film content with a media team.

My other hobbies include skiing, kite surfing, speed solving a Rubik's cube, and recreational Mathematics.

I have always loved entertaining, teaching, and creating something magical for people to experience. I strive to carry a little bit of that in my everyday life and like to bring it to other spaces.
