Tim and Angus have a friendship and a musical dialogue that spans over a decade. While their diverse tastes mean that they each bring something unique to the table, their collaborative style has been defined by a shared love of “experiencing [their] favourite music on a big rig.” They’ve recently broken into a new stride of extended collaborative sets, with an example of being their five hour ‘morning after’ set at Pepperprint Music and Arts Festival 2024. Two of these five hours were recorded and immortalised by friends, Moonshoe.

Angus Mills (Eora/Sydney) is a producer and DJ with recent releases on Moonshoe and Only Choice. His venturous yet precise sound design and atmospherics, combine with club sensibilities to create a style of music which is unbound by genre but nuzzled right in between the sound system and home listener. His DJ sets are a lens into the inspiration behind his own compositions, drawing from years spent searching for absorbing music with an empathic eye on the listener at all times. He’s played alongside Call Super, Hodge, Paleman, and CC: Disco!, and is currently preparing for an appearance at this year’s Mode Festival on Cockatoo Island.

tgmn has been a fixture on the dancefloor and behind the decks in Sydney for over a decade now. For years he’s passionately followed and pushed the sounds that he loves through events and labels of his own, as well as extended sets for long-running Sydney parties. Tim is no stranger to Subsonic, having cut his teeth on the paradiso stage on Friday evening back in 2015. He’s gone on to support a diverse range of artists, all united by the depth of their music – Forest Drive West, Kangding Ray, Terekke, DJ Stingray, Djrum, and Tin Man. When he’s not behind the decks, you’ll find him on the dancefloor - back to the speaker, eyes closed.

Expect to hear Chill out, dub, downbeat, disco and dancehall. Expect to be warmed. This is music for people who like music.
