Stretch

Stretch DJ / Producer has been an essential part of Jungle/Drum & Bass music. Started playing on sound systems at clubs and house parties. Things changed when Stretch was introduced to Marc & Dego, aka 4Hero Reinforced Records. Masters of their craft, Stretch learned fundamental skills at Reinforced.

Stretch went on to release the infamous jungle anthem "Worries in da Dance". First played at the legendary AWOL club, and after an impressive five reloads, the track was signed to DJ Ron's label A London Something Records,

Stretch went on to play at some of some of London's best Jungle nights & venues;

AWOL, Jungle Mania, Telepathy, London Sumting, Morning After, Thunder & Joy, Ministry Of Sound, Fabric & The End Club.

He is known for bringing the vibe with VIP dubplates.

Stretch was an integral member of the Reinforced Records family and was a support DJ for 4Hero, worldwide, all across the UK, Europe, Japan, and the USA.

He set up his own labels, Rinsing Records & A-KO Recordings, focusing on his own productions and showcasing up-and-coming talent. He has also released under a few aliases on Reinforced Records & A-KO Recordings.

Stretch runs 4 hugely successful labels, AKO Beatz, AKO150, AKO10, and AKOMD focusing on that jungle/DnB sound. AKO Beatz with new age jungle/DnB sound but stays true to its roots with releases from Goldie, Marc Mac, Mantra, Double O & Ricky Force, to name but a few on the label, and AKO150, which focuses on some of the unreleased gems from the golden era and new retrospective jungle with that oldskool feel by artists such as Decibella, Tom & Jerry, Dextrous and Ronin and Tim Reaper

He has also released on various labels and recently had a big release out on Metalheadz, Reinforced records with his partner in beatz Enjoy
