At 19, Michael Muska set out to be a DJ, moving to Melbourne, Victoria, driven by a passion for music and an ambition to make his mark in the industry. Within two years, he secured residencies at iconic venues like Revolver Nightclub, TFU, Esco Bar, The Lounge, and Brown Alley. These residencies allowed him to hone his craft and connect with influential figures in the Melbourne music scene. By the age of 26, he had established multiple festival residencies, playing at every Australian Bush Doof. Over the last 10 years, Muska has performed on nearly all Australian festival mainstages at peak times, both before and after major international artists, solidifying his reputation as a prominent DJ.

Known for his boundary-pushing sets and unwavering dedication to redefining the musical landscape, Muska has become a revered icon in Australia's electronic music community. His magnetic stage presence and passion for curating unforgettable experiences have secured residencies at esteemed venues such as Brown Alley, The Lounge, Likes Of You, Circus, Whomp, and Revolver. He is also a festival powerhouse, boasting repeat performances at prestigious events like Strawberry Fields, Let Them Eat Cake, Subsonic Music, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Wide Open Spaces, Tanglewood, and the legendary Rainbow Serpent Festival.

Muska is a dedicated vinyl collector, with a digital music library of over 70,000 songs, encompassing a vast array of genres and styles. His passion for music extends to production; he operates a hardware studio and has released music on numerous Australian labels. This technical and creative expertise in music production has enabled him to create unique sounds and collaborate with various artists, further enhancing his influence in the industry.

Inspired by the wealth of talent in Australia’s electronic music scene, Muska channeled his creativity into music production. His growing catalogue of releases includes tracks on Addictech Records, Vapour, and LoFi-45, showcasing his unique fusion of styles. His unreleased tracks, referred to as the "forefront of bush techno," captivate audiences at summer festivals with their innovative sound. His treasure trove of tracks and EPs released on Beatport continues to grow. You can find tracks on Recovery Collective, featuring tracks like "Agama" and "Dirty Dishes," led to his latest release on Euphoric Bizerk, a 4-track release of the highest quality production, sound design and audio engineering.

As a DJ, music producer, and promoter, Muska is a multifaceted contributor to the industry. He has booked artists from around the globe and discovered talent in Australia and New Zealand. Professional Bio

By the age of 21, Muska realised that to build a sustainable career in the music industry, he needed to become a promoter. Understanding that ticket sales were crucial for bookings, he began hosting events and collaborating with other promoters, venues, and festivals. This strategic move allowed him to gain diverse industry experience and take on various roles, such as stage designer, booker, events manager, and project manager.

With over 20 years of dynamic experience, Muska has been a key part of pioneering underground music in Melbourne, Australia. He has mastered various roles and consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity and innovation. His extensive involvement in the industry includes working for almost all of Melbourne's most prestigious nightclubs, including Brown Alley, Revolver, Circus, The Lounge, TFU, My Aeon, just to name a few where he has organised weekly events for nearly two decades. However it was at Brown Alley (Colonial Hotel) where he booked some of the biggest international shows in Melbourne from 2006 to2012 before starting a music festival called Let Them Eat Cake with the owner Tolli Grigoriadis. From there Tolli would go on to be one of Australia’s biggest festival owners building businesses and networks resulting in making millions of dollars in revenue with Muska as one of his key and most reliable consultants.

One of Muska's core strengths lies in running events and festivals. He has successfully organised over 1,000 events and worked with festivals every season for almost 15 years. His expertise encompasses developing stage designs, organising builders, coordinating lighting and sound, and bringing together artists for his own and others' festivals. He has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes an event successful, ensuring that every stage and event he manages is executed flawlessly which is why Festivals and clubs have worked with him closely or had him as a consultant for their ventures.

Abbots Yard: An innovative space that hosts a variety of events, fostering a community of music lovers and creative minds.

Organic Audio: From club shows to festival stages and outdoor events/warehouse parties, Organic Audio is one of Melbourne's most infamous local events of its kind.

Bushtechno: An Australian sound and movement creating a sub-culture of DJs and producers renowned event and festival stage.

And his latest venture ARK touring Infrastructure a medium and heavy rigid vehicles modification company to create festival infrastructure starting with their very first festival , bus / green room bar which soft launched March 2024.
