MOZZ x F.RITS

The Newcastle duo Mozz & F.RITS bonded over their mutual appreciation for everything techno. United by a passion for deep, dark, hypnotic and driving sounds, the pair have quickly carved out their own space in Newcastle’s underground.

This year they launched Foundations, an event series that has already showcased some of the country’s best rising artists and will welcome its first international guest in September.

Mozz has supported heavyweights such as Amotik and Bours, with appearances at RAW Gadigal, Chinese Laundry, and many other events across NSW. His productions have been downloaded and played by artists around the world, alongside a featured mix for SCDD on Rinse FM. He also founded Laboratory, collaborating widely across festival lineups, and was the mind behind the weekly party Rumbler.

F.RITS has DJ’d extensively across Australia, bringing a sharp and versatile edge to the duo’s sound. His catalogue includes numerous supported self-releases, with backing from HASVAT INFORMAT and Connor Wall, as well as a recent EP on Modern Minimal. He also featured with a mix release on Yax Invites Adelaide, further cementing his reputation as both selector and producer.

Together, Mozz & F.RITS continue to shape Newcastle’s underground with the sound that is techno.
