Mabel

Mabel is a musician and DJ recognized for her meticulous curation and immersive long-form storytelling. Inspired by the pioneers of the 19th century Romantic classical movement her practice centers on innovation, designing and coding custom tooling to shape sound in real time, carving out richly textured soundscapes and pushing the boundaries of traditional approaches to production and DJ sets.

A familiar face within the NSW doof scene she first stepped behind the decks in 2023 and has since played for staple collectives including Allfriends, Puzzles Records, and Church of Techno.

Mabel’s sound is dark, layered, and unapologetic– a creative homage to the spirit of the doof and warehouse dance floors.
