Kyle Burchill

With 10 years of DJing under his belt, when he’s not in the booth delivering fun and authentic grooves, you can be sure he’s carving out a spot on the dance floor.

Evolving from the hardcore punk scene in his teenage years, Kyle found his way to club music, landing in the minimal/house scene with a keen ear for the underground and a passion for undiscovered sounds. The kind of DJ you could never book just once, he made himself known in the Brisbane circuit with residencies for Delight & Dragonfruit and played a key role in the creation of FLUX. More recently Kyle was the first port of call in helping Australia’s most infamous Sunday session S.A.S.H break new ground in the sunshine state.

With a string of notable supports through his years, such as Archie Hamilton, S.A.M, KiNK, Cristi Cons and Träumer, Kyle has travelled up and down the east coast appearing at some of Australia’s most notorious party spots like S.A.S.H (Syd) & Breakfast Club (Melb). No stranger to the festival scene either, Kyle further cemented his reputation playing festivals Subsonic, Earth Frequency, Elements, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and donning the island attire for Gypsylands Bali. His passion for music extends beyond playing, travelling around the world sampling music culture and gathering inspiration from as far as Albania, Vietnam and Romania. The wide range of influences can be felt through Kyle’s sets as he brings the dance floor together, expressing, educating and always ahead of the curve.
