Jai Piccone

Jai Piccone is an Australian producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and DJ based between Byron Bay and Barcelona. A founding member of indie-electronic four-piece Tora, he has spent more than a decade shaping the band’s sound across four albums, while touring internationally and performing at festivals including Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and The Great Escape.

His solo work channels that melodic instinct into faster, club-focused territory: warm, emotionally charged house driven by agile percussion, vivid synths and Piccone’s own vocals. Following the six-track *Make Me Understand* EP, his acclaimed 2024 collaboration with 1tbsp, *Shine Love In*, received strong triple j support and helped secure a solo appearance at Laneway Festival Sydney. More recent releases include “Athlete Money” and “Freak4u” alongside DJ Sugarush and Hotel Rubio, followed by their 2026 single “Toothgems.”

Piccone is also co-founder and head music curator of Haven, Byron Bay’s new arts and electronic-music venue, where he is helping build a vital platform for local and international club culture. Behind the decks, he has supported Floating Points, Palms Trax, Logic1000 and Denis Sulta, with Jacques Greene next, among many others.
