Hailing from the multicultural streets of Western Sydney and tracing his ancestry back to Australia's first soundsystem, Soulmaker Sound, Jah Tung has established himself as a leading force in the global reggae movement. Blending conscious lyricism with reggae, dancehall and hip hop, his unmistakable singjay style effortlessly moves between soulful melodies, rapid-fire toasting and commanding stage presence. Jah Tung's self-produced album Digital Degeneration features collaborations with reggae heavyweights Kabaka Pyramid, Micah Shemaiah, Bugle, Pressure Busspipe and Tamika, showcasing both his songwriting and production credentials. His international touring history includes performances at Germany's Reggaejam Festival, Switzerland's Reeds Festival with Little Lion Sound, and the legendary Rototom Sunsplash alongside Dub FX, as well as shows throughout France, Croatia and Slovenia. In Australia, he has received four consecutive Music Victoria Award nominations, cementing his reputation as one of the country's most respected reggae artists.
