IMPRV

IMPRV, formerly known as Gillittene, is a respected figure in the NSW drum and bass community, known for immersive, dark and technically refined sets that move seamlessly between intensity and atmosphere.

Originally from South Africa, IMPRV has built a strong presence in the Australian bass scene and is a committed supporter of the SYDDNB community. He has performed across events by Elements of Tech and Bass, Breakneck Entertainment, Solis, HiveMind, Afterlife, Rinse Out, Riot Club and Bass Drop, with notable festival appearances at Dragon Dreaming Festival in 2025, Antigravity Festival in 2025 and 2026, and Art Valley in 2026.

Along the way, IMPRV has supported an impressive roster of artists including Mefjus, Culture Shock, The Upbeats, State of Mind, Koven, Phibes, Ed Solo, Serial Killaz, Bensley, Screamarts, Akov, Truth, Hydraulix, Royalston and more.

His sets explore the deeper reaches of bass music, weaving Autonomic and IDM influences through halftime jungle, minimal drum and bass, liquid and heavier DNB territory. Technical without losing feeling, IMPRV balances intricate selections, deep low-end pressure and carefully considered transitions to create sets that unfold as a journey.

With a genuine dedication to the music and the community surrounding it, IMPRV continues to carve out his place in Eora’s underground bass landscape.
