FLY WAVES a.k.a Iresh is a Dj based in Eora country originally from Milan, Italy.

Before crafting into djing Iresh made her debut in the Sydney scene, launching the female Hip Hop creative collective Stayfly Sydney in 2013 empowering and connecting female identifying artists within the music and art spaces.

From East to West FLYWAVES has curated line ups and events supporting cultural and musical spaces with art exhibition, Dj sets, live music performances and youth workshops.

On the decks FLYWAVES spans from Hip Hop, R&B, Afro, Disco, Bass and Jungle.

From chilled smooth sets to the wettest of sweaty dance floors FLY WAVES is known for her paramount versatility and appreciation of music through eras and countries, from the roots of reggae, hip hop, soul, latin and afrobeat- all the way through their electronic evolutions and subcultures.

FLY WAVES is a staple of the Sydney club scene as she hosts residencies in the busiest bars in Sydney, as well as debuting global club mixes in New York and Milan and played Subsonic Music Festival 2023.

FLY WAVES accompanies rapper Barkaa as tour DJ and has played shows supporting The Pharcyde (USA), Chali 2na (Jusassic5) (USA), Children Of Zeus (UK), Oddisee (USA), DJ NU-MARK (USA) and more.

FLY WAVES also curates a monthly slot on Manchester’s Sweet Vibration Radio and has been a guest selector on various shows on Triple J, FBI Radio, Orbital Radio, 2SER, Old Dirty Laundry and more.
