Bligs

Bligs is a seeker of warmth and groove. A lifelong vinyl collector with a musical archive that is as extensive as it is tasteful. He is a regular fixture on the Australian house and techno circuit having played for many of the country’s most highly regarded parties everywhere from nightclubs to warehouses, beaches and bars to the bush. He’s also played at festivals and clubs around the world including Gypsyland festival in Bali, Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza and House of Yes in Brooklyn, New York. Over a 15 year career, Bligs has supported, worked with and toured many of his musical influences, including Pure Science, Silverlining, Terry francis, Eddie Richards, Miroloja (first ever Australian tour), DJ W!ld, Cristi Cons, Doubtingthomas, Dewalta, Francesca Lombardo and many many more.

As a producer, Bligs has released on Midnight Social Recordings, DWAAL records and Psicodelica with many more in the pipeline.

Later this year, Bligs and his partner in crime Kleo will launch Altered States Record store in Newtown, Sydney.
