ALEX DOWSING

Alex Dowsing began her DJ career in 2019 with her debut performance at Burning Man, where she played her first set at the renowned TETRIX VILLAGE CAMP. Over the past six years, she has steadily built a loyal following and is also the co-founder and creative force behind the event brand Better Together.

Alex’s career has seen her grace the decks at some of the most celebrated events and venues across the globe. She has curated and performed for notable events and brands such as Blueprint, Rio, Lost Paradise, Lost Sundays, Sash, Spice, Suck My Disco, Escape (Bali) Tabularasa (Waves Retreat), Subsonic, Secret Valley (Mudgee), Breakfast Club (Melb), Roots Women's Retreat, SkyDance, Sutra, Vision Hound, Finely Tuned, The People's Party, Blank and Bodywork.

Alex has also played iconic venues, including, Ivy, Abercrombie Hotel, Carousel, Lucky Cat, Sussudio, The Island, Kings Cross Hotel, Casa Luna, Playground, Underworld, One Six One, Circus, and Killing Time (in Melbourne). Internationally, Alex has brought her sound to Club Lex (Tokyo), Full Circle (Myoko, Japan), and Da Maria and Sol (Bali).

Her sound is an eclectic mix of ambient, soulful, and jazzy grooves, seamlessly blending classic house, micro-house, minimal, indie, and deep house beats. Alex has the ability to craft sets that evolve and captivate, taking her audience on a musical journey. A mere reflection of her belief that “sound is a vibration that ignites emotions within us.”
